Smok Chrome e-Pipe

This is a great looking and simple mod.  This mod works great every time thanks to a simple design and a mechanical switch.  The e-Pipe works with a flat top 18350 battery which is installed by unscrewing the bottom of the device and has a 510 eGo connection so you can use any 510 or eGo cartomizer.

The chrome finish is highly polished and looks great with a Redux Clearomizer with the Stainless Steel Redux Tube and a Stainless Steel CE4 Drip Tip (as shown in the pictures).

The price is for one (1) Chrome e-Pipe.  Redux, drip tips and other accessories sold separately.

  1. using a button battery Review by Robert

Bought this without realizing the need for flat top batteries as well.So I was reading the reviews and saw that someone wrote that if you installed an 18350 backwards so the flat negative side was facing the switch plunger. It works!but not knowing how safe that would be because of the reverse polarity I came up with an Idea if I cut out a plastic adapter to fit the top of the battery it would raise the sides on the top of the battery so the button would be reassessed to be able to put the battery in the pipe correctly. So I did this using a plastic cap from a bottle I cut it to fit the top of the battery and drilled out the center so the button on the top of the battery could make contact when plunger was pushed and it works great acts as a flat top battery. As far as the pipe great vapor give it a 5 stars (Posted on 1/30/14)

  2. Not sure if this is legal Review by Ken

Bought this without realizing the need for flat top batteries. So, in my best red neck way, I installed an 18350 backwards so the flat negative side was facing the switch plunger. So far it works! (Posted on 12/11/13)

  3. Pleased overall but read all these reviews Review by John

I've been using this device for about a week now. It took awhile but after trying several tank combinations, I have a well built, compact device that is a pleasure to use. After less than satisfactory performance with my kanger protank 2 and smok trophy, I popped on my wife's ruigu rg400 and viola! A good vape! Of course your mileage may vary depending on your own personal preferences.

Cons, as mentioned in previous reviews, mine does not have ego threading. Flat top batteries are a must. The battery cap spring is very weak and can dislodge from the retaining groove at times.

Overall I like the convenience of this easy to use, compact pipe. I will be purchasing the battery extension soon. (Posted on 11/28/13)

  4. not mechanical Review by John

i'd give this at least 4 stars if it was really mechanical but it is wired . looks and performs nice but should not be in the mechanical class as it is just a regular mod. (Posted on 8/17/13)

  5. Great pocket pipe Review by John

Hook this up to a Kanger Pro Tank, tons of vapor, great for pocket carry and traveling. (Posted on 6/7/13)

  6. great little mod Review by Timothy

Its great if you like little mods its tiny tiny tiny good for stealth vape (Posted on 6/7/13)

  7. Update on the e-pipe Review by photogf4

The one I got does NOT have an eGo thread, so I use an eGo to 510 adapter. (Posted on 6/3/13)

  8. Cool Review by photogf4

Pair this with an eVod with a 2.5 ohm coil and a 510 adapter. Little guy puts out over 4 volts,so you need some resistance or you will torch your atomizer. Totally cool mechanical mod. Solidly built, and no worries about getting liquid in it. Flat top batteries are REQUIRED. (Posted on 5/24/13)

  9. Can't use it yet! Review by Diane

I'm glad that I read the review here because I had the same problem with the unit firing without even pressing the button. I can't use it yet since I didn't order flat top batteries. But it is well contructed and feels good in my hand and look stunning! (Posted on 5/19/13)

  10. Seems nice and solid but needs flat top batteries... Review by ScottGChi

Got it today and first impressions are really good. Finish and threading is nice, feels good in the hand. But two small quirks. One is that the interior length is too short to include any kind of a safety fuse/vape safe. Unless you cut a ring or two off of the spring there's no way it'll fit and I'm not sure that will even work.

The other quirk, and possibly a significant one, is that it seems that you have to use flat top batteries. When I first got it, I popped in an AW and then attached a voltage meter and the meter showed a reading without pressing the button. Tried several button tops...same thing. Then tried a flat top and didn't get a reading without pressing the button. I think the issue is that the button pin that comes down to make contact with the top of the battery is in like a plastic insulator. When not pressed, the pin is slightly recessed up in the insulator. But the nipple of a button top battery fits up in the recess, making a constant connection even when the button isn't pressed. The flat top battery seems to solve that and maybe trimming down the spring would as well.

One other thing to note is that there is a soldered wire in the button assembly. Its soldered to the spring and then it looks like it's soldered to the inside side of the mod. I'm assuming that's a ground wire and I think the Bolt had one as well. But I've never had any issue with my Bolt, and it's been my all-day mod at times, so I'm hopeful this will work just as well.
