i had the same problem as Michael. it seems with mine that the outer sleeve is just slightly longer than the inner plastic tank and keeps the base from fully tightning. i didnt have the problem of the finish wearing off.i also flipped the ends but with the same result and having a juice spot on my shirt pocket were i cary it is not cool.Rating

This tank is the best I have ever used, and I have used a lot! As long as it is put together correctly it is leak proof. It is very easy to miss-install the coil and if that happens the liquid runs down middle tube and leaks out the bottom. So if you use a paper clip and make sure the threading is lined up while screwing it in until tight it will not leak. great smoke (Posted on 12/12/12)Rating - Good idea, leaky though.Review by Michael

The first time I filled it, the threads seemed to leak pretty bad even though I made sure they were tight. I unscrewed and flipped the tank over and it seemed better, but it still occasionally seeps out of the bottom threads. The black outside is just a sleeve glued on to the tank, this gives excess juice a place to hide and eventually seep out. It also makes it hard to dry when washing it as water easily gets stuck in between the outside black jacket and the tank. The rubber-ish coating wore off the day after I started using it (not sure if that was supposed to happen). The atty's inside are pretty good, nice vapor production on my LT with the 2.4 coil at 4V and the 2.8 coil at 4.5V. I've read up a lot on rebuilding the attys, I've already tried cotton wick and that delivers a burnt taste after a day so I'm switching back to the silica wick for rebuilding. Can't beat the upkeep cost, you can rebuild the attys at a fraction of the cost of buying even cheap cartos. I like it, but the leaks leave me kind of wanting. This is the first tank system I've tried and I have to say it's nice not having to drip anymore. I'm using less liquid despite the fact I'm a heavy vaper. Dry hits are almost a thing of the past (as long as you keep the tank wet). Due to the design of the little funnel above the coil, no liquid has made it into my mouth at all (big plus). In conclusion, if you're trying a tank for the first time, go for it, I may have just received a slightly defective one. (Posted on 11/14/12)Rating - Works like it shouldReview by Mr.E210

I really like the finish on the tank. No leaks, easy to replace heads or you can just rebuild them (Posted on 11/5/12)Rating
