AcryliMax Acrylic Variable Volt APV, Blue

This is a variable volt APV made by madvapes that uses the same circuit board as the Zmax in a colored acrylic tube. This is really a variable power mod because you have the option of adjusting either your voltage or your power (watts). The AcryliMax adjusts from 3.0 to 6.0 Volts in .1 volt increments or 3.0 to 15 Watts in .5 Watt increments. The AcryliMax is made of a clear durable acrylic and has a maximum output of 4 Amps
The AcryliMax can read your output voltage, battery voltage and cartomizer / atomizer resistance. This APV does it all.
With a side mounted button, the 510 connector is free to accept any 510 tank. And with the power of varaible volt you can use almost any tank or carto you have. In addition there are ample vent holes in the side of this APV for added safety.
The AcryliMax will accept the following batteries: Button Top IMR 18650, TrustFire Protected 18650 Battery, 2400mAh, TrustFire Protected 18650 Flat Top Battery, 2400mAh, Ultrafire Protected 18650 Battery, 2400 mAh, or the MarsFire Protected 18650 Battery, 2600mAh.
Never use non-rechargeable batteries in any device. Only use the recommended batteries for this device.
All adjustments and settings are made with the push button switch. This includes a setting to turn your AcryliMax off for safe travel in your pocket, bag or purse.
There is a 90 Day warranty for device failures under normal use.

Just have to say that since I had written the first review, I had various issues with this device(all of which Madvapes was willing to resolve) so I feel like I should update on that. The PV is a powerhouse when it comes to performance but when I was screwing in the spring/neg battery terminal, the threading came out of the device and broke the weld between the wire leading from the neg terminal connection to the guts of the device. I didn't feel like spending money on sending it back and waiting so I just superglued it back in. NOW, let me just say when I pay 80 dollars for something, I don't want to have to send it back to fix something that never should have been an issue! If I had it to do over I would look around for a Segelei Zmax with the oled display that is a totally machined metal one peice device that does the same thing but has an additional setting and you know you aren't going to have issues with exposed wires and metal breaking from plastic. I just recently ordered one for about 10 bucks more than this device. Sometimes the bargains just aren't worth it! I feel that this should be AT MOST a $40 device considering the quality of the build. Even a Lambo would be a better choice and it's cheaper than this knock off Zmax... boo on this one Madvapes... This mod is my first step up from the ego... I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the performance and the style of this mod. The menu system is a little confusing so I wish they would have included a user manual with it, but with a little research and about a day of fiddling with it I got it down pat. I haven't seen a mod that matches the beauty of this one and I have been researching for at least 3 months. It does feel a little on the toyish side just because it's plastic but I guess that's to be expected. For the price I just don't see how u can beat it. (Posted on 10/23/12)Rating
