The Bolt - Extender, Black
 
This is a Black extension for the bolt.  It will turn your 3.7 volt Bolt into a 5, 6 volt or 7 volt Bolt with 16340 or 18350 batteries and 5 volts with the NiHm battery.

Won't work with 18350s
The extender itself is well made & nicely finished. Only problem is that the finish on the extender doesn't match the finish on the Bolt. It's smoother & it's matte, not glossy. That doesn't detract from performance. The extender will NOT let the Bolt accept 2 18350 batteries. It barely accepts 2 16340 batteries. The fit is so tight that I worry about cross-threading the soft aluminum threads. I also wonder about spring compression.

Awesome
I can now use my Ultrafire 18650 batteries. Also my Bolt is now more comfortable to hold in my hand now. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the finish doesn't really match up with my Bolt but I knew that when I got it.

It will work with 18650's
Im sure many of you are wondering if you can use a 18650 battery with this on the bolt. The answer is yes. Only if you use an AW18650. They are shorter than most other batteries and fit perfect.
