5V awesomeness
The pins are arranged differently on this regulator than what I was used to so I destroyed 2 before figuring out what was wrong... Other than that- solid regulator, does its job. also fits nicely in an ego hub, just heat shrink the tab, it's positive not negative.

Good Value - I like them
Lets face it, its a voltage regulator Not much can be said other than it works as it should. If you add a small sheet of aluminum or epoxy a sheet of copper or even metal duct tape to the regulators heat sink, they will run cooler with less chance of failure and will retain their tolerance longer. Covering these completely with epoxy would be inadvisable as they need air to cool properly. Heat shrinking the connections would also be recommended.
