LDO 5 volt, 3.0 amp regulator with control pin
 
5v, 3.0 amp regulator.. Low dropout voltage (5.5 volts) These are about the same size as a 7805 regulator but also have a control pin so you can use any switch you want without worry of it burning up! These are a dream come true for a 5 volt mod..They also provide short circuit protection, mosfet like functionality via control pin and high current output.. You can ignore the control pin also by just tying it to VCC or leaving it open. New tutorials on a 5 volt Box mod using one of these is almost complete! Mosfet like functionality down to 3 volts is ideal for 3.7 volt mods where you want to use a smaller switch.

Better than the 3 pin 5 amp one
With the 3 pin regulator, the first few vapes from a set of freshly charged batteries would be hot and as the batteries were dying the led on my mod would dim and it would "weenie vape". This one is consistent from the first vape to the last.

Great for 5v Mods
Works great in my box mod. Goes great with the PCB as well fits perfectly in the 2xAA boxes. Def a good buy!

Not bad
They do fit the little green boards that mad vapes sell so thats a plus but the one i got get really hot and it warped my box a little. Works for about 2 or three pulls then stops working untill it cools down. Weird.

I will get more of these
They are nice regulators. A good size for 5v 3aa box mods. Incidentally they line up PERFECTLY with the small green circuit boards they sell here. I have bought these in the past and they have always worked well.
