LDO 5 volt, 3.0 amp Regulator, D2Pak3

5v, 3.0 amp regulator.. Low dropout voltage (6v typical) These are smaller than a 7805 but will handle up to 3 amps (4.5 surge) of output current. Nice small size makes them ideal where you have a tight space. Short circuit and thermal protection is built in.

Love these!
I use these to build by 5v 3xAA mods. They work awesome! No heat issues using it w 2x14500. I put an extra glob of solder on the back plate to help work as a heat sink as well.
