This is a very functional volt meter but I was hoping to use it to switch between my battery voltage to supply voltage with a spdt switch but it only reads 3.0 to 4.9 volt "per cell" and is intended for use with lipo packs in the RC hobby world |

Nice little battery display that I used on a dud 510 cartomizer body and wired up the battery connections to. I added some shrink wrap tubing to make my own voltage display that I can screw onto various mods to show what the voltage is currently set at. It's my quick got to variable voltage display I can use on my mods. Very nice, consistent, and works great. |

I ordered the unit shown here $7 but I received the $15 assembled version with 510 connectors. I appreciate the upgrade but it limited the uses for the indicator. I didn't want to disassemble it so I used one of the 510 battery contacts I bought and put leads on it to make a loose wired tester of it. Works great. |

This unit is great for making a little mod to check voltage on the fly. Applying voltage for the full 2 seconds needed to get a good reading under load can cause some liquid burning at high voltages.
The accuracy is off by about 0.2 volts on the one I got compared to my Voltmeter but I am not gonna complain at this price.
The ground pin is as indicated above. The other pins are for 6 different positive connections that share the same ground.
Great price! |

These are originally for r/c hobbyists to test multi-cell LiPo batteries out at the field. This is one of the best prices I have seen on one of these units and it is a nice one to boot. They work great as indicated for building into mods as well. |

Purchased this and a 510 battery extension (male connector on one end, female on other) and wired it up with some heavy gauge wire (for stiffness) and made myself a battery voltage indicator for my 510 mods. No need to use a multimeter anymore! |

Works well. Seems to have a 2 second update cycle.Have not measured current draw yet but it causes charger LED to flicker. Nice addition. |
