This is an excellent tiny mod! Keep in mind that you are soldering & working in a tiny space. All you need is a little bit of patience & this laser pointer for the perfect tiny mod :) |

I read the reviews here, and I also read the forumns on the CISCO laser Mod. Study both! This laser is a little different than the CISCO. I had to find the right positive conection on the PCB. It's on the opposite side of the button/closest solder point next to the button/Located on the side of the button closest to the front of laser. I touched the wire to this solder point and could here the atty fire!!! I didnt have to cut the pcb down.FAST Delivery! |

I've done a few of these mods now, and it's as easy as it gets providing you can use a drill reasonably well. These are a bit different than the laser Cisco used, so think ahead if you're using his tutorial. I found that it is necessary to gently grind off the chrome on the lip of the end cone (the part that presses into the tubular body) to get good conductivity. These are a fun and pretty easy project and can be completed in about a half an hour. |

I also wanted to use for pets. It worked great for 2 weeks or so. It just quit, not sure why. I did disassemble and test with meter. I had power all around so maybe the diode quit. It works a bit strange also, your battery must go it backwards. The casing is not your ground it is your positve. |

I made two of these last night. Follow Cisco's guide for disassembly. Note though that on these (at least the ones I got) there are no resistors to remove on the PCB. Also, the positive solder point on the PCB is reversed from what's in ciscos guide, and the batteries fit correctly without modification to the endcap. The whole mod takes about 5 minutes if you have an 11/32 unibit to drill out the nosecone. |

I'm not sure what was up with the other guys laser but I have bought a bunch of these and all have worked VERY well. I also used one as a toy for my pups and had zero issues, the others I purchased I ended up modding. Keep in mind that this was when I VERY FIRST started modding thing into e-cigs and was able to figure it out in NO time! If you're curious and would like to give it a shot then please trust me when I say that this an awesome mod to build for any level! |

Ordered this product to use with my pets as a toy, not to mod. Never could get it to work, and I tried many creative ways. The end-cap is also hard to seat correctly. Very disappointed in this product. |
